Summer Visit Days

Summer Visit Days are optional events that will be hosted throughout the summer to give students and their families a chance to visit Purdue's campus and engage with students and staff.

Official Dates & Registration Info

Purdue University will be hosting two separate Summer Visit Days throughout the summer of 2023, on June 5 and June 12, 2023. As a reminder, these events are completely optional, and are not required to complete your Orientation experience.

Students who are eligible to attend Summer Visit Days should have received an email to their Purdue email account in early May with a link to register for their visit day.

Registration for each Summer Visit Day will close one week prior to the day's programming: May 29 for those visiting on June 5, and June 5 for those visiting on June 12.

What to Expect During your Summer Visit Day

Check-in for Summer Visit Days begins at 9am and programming will run from 10am - 4:30pm. Students and guests will participate in workshops hosted by campus partners to address common questions that incoming students and guests may have about transitioning to Purdue University.

Workshops cover a range of topics such as housing, financial literacy resources, on-campus student jobs, navigation of the New Student Task List, and more. Registration instructions will be sent to eligible student emails.
