The AI Organizational Transformation workshop guides Department of Defense learners in integrating AI into organizational management. It focuses on leveraging AI technologies to optimize business processes and improve efficiency. Workshop outcomes:

- Enable leaders to envision new AI-based solutions

Military Educational and Strategic Partnerships

Since January of 2023, Kelvin has led military educational and strategic partnerships for Purdue University. In this role he collaborates across the university to position Purdue as the Nation’s leading university provider of credentials that serves and advances the career readiness and professional development of military and civilian personnel. Kelvin is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and graduated from Stillwater High School in May 2000 (Oklahoma). Entering Enlisted Naval Service in August 2000, advancing to Chief Petty Officer in September 2013 and commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer in June 2016. During his time in the U.S. Navy Kelvin supported and led at various levels and served onboard: Nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, an amphibious command ship, strike fighter and reconnaissance squadrons, and served on major staffs at the Pentagon, headquarters units across the Pacific theater, National Capital Region, and a Geographic Combatant Command. Kelvin retired from the U.S. Navy in January 2023 from Naval Education and Training Command where he served as the Staff Executive Officer and Director of Administration.

Purdue University, U.S. Naval Test Pilot School to partner on joint graduate degree program
Purdue University and the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School have signed an educational partnership agreement designed to enable USNTPS students to earn Purdue graduate degrees online with credit for their USNTPS training. Under the agreement, the plan is to develop a curriculum pathway utilizing a number of courses in the intensive, 48-week curriculum taken by students at USNTPS to count toward Purdue graduate degrees, with the students also taking advantage of online courses from Purdue’s College of Engineering and the Purdue Polytechnic Institute to complete their degrees.
New USAFSAM partnership with Purdue University expands educational opportunities for Airmen, Guardians
A new partnership between the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, or USAFSAM, a mission unit within the Air Force Research Laboratory, and Purdue University will expand educational opportunities for Airmen and Guardians and provide added mission flexibility. The new opportunities involve Purdue’s Master of Public Health, or MPH, program and the school’s ability to grant college credits to military members who complete select USAFSAM courses.
Purdue and Engineering and Technical Management Directorate, Air Force Materiel Command enter into educational partnership agreement
Purdue and the Engineering and Technical Management Directorate, Air Force Materiel Command, have signed a multi-faceted educational partnership agreement to partner in areas such as educational programs centered around advancing learning and research in science, mathematics and engineering; increasing awareness of federal service opportunities for Purdue students in collaboration with the Defense Civilian Training Corps; and increasing their dialogue on digital transformation collaboration between both organizations.
