U.S. News rankings: Purdue again among top 10 ‘Most Innovative Schools’ in nation

For the fourth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Purdue among the top 10 Most Innovative Schools in the nation. The newest rankings show Purdue in the eighth spot, which leads all Big Ten schools and is tops in the state of Indiana.

Leadership during pandemic, ongoing commitment to affordability and accessibility lead to record enrollment

A survey of admitted students shows that Purdue’s success navigating the pandemic, as well as its reputation for affordability and high-quality education, were drivers behind a record fall enrollment of 49,639 undergraduate and graduate students.

Purdue’s Ackerman Center to host 16th annual Constitution Day on Sept. 17

Purdue’s James F. Ackerman Center for Democratic Citizenship is hosting the 16th annual Constitution Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday (Sept. 17) at the Purdue Memorial Union – with a variety of activities to celebrate the Constitution and develop civic literacy.

Enhancing ordinary items for addressing health outcomes research

Research by Chi Hwan Lee, the Leslie A. Geddes associate professor of biomedical engineering in Purdue’s Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, focuses on converting items like contact lenses and prosthetic hands into smart devices with specially designed electronic stickers to measure vision loss or simulate the sense of feeling.
