Resource Hours Spring 2026
The LCC teams up with departments, student organizations and partners across campus to host resources in-house. All Purdue University students are welcome to use these resources. There is no cost to participate, and no appointment is needed.

Graduate students are invited to Join the Latinx Graduate Student Organization and LCC Graduate Assistant, for quiet study hours whether you're working on a publication, dissertation, thesis or class assignment. We will help keep you on track. Food available. No RSVP needed. No need to stay the entire time.
Tu Wallet, Tu Poder: Financial Literacy with Boiler Financial Track

Escribir y Chill: Purdue OWL Writing Support

Writing is key to every discipline. Stop by the Purdue OWL hours at the LCC to get support in beginning a project, reviewing a draft and improving your thought process, organization and writing skills. Beginning January 20th AND ending April 21st.
Cuidate con Center for Advocacy, Response & Education (CARE)

Come get to know the Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE) advocates or receive entirely confidential support for direct or indirect experiences of interpersonal violence (e.g. sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, etc.).
- January 21: Intro to CARE & Pizza Handout
- Stop by the LCC and meet the CARE liaisons Lily and Crystal while grabbing a slice of pizza! Lily and Crystal will be sharing what CARE is all about and the different supports and resources available to Purdue students. Whether you’re already familiar with CARE or just learning about us for the first time, this is a great opportunity to connect, ask questions, and start the semester feeling supported. Open to all students.
- January 28th: Digital Safety with CARE
- Join CARE to learn how to stay safe in digital spaces. Crystal will be sharing tips on privacy settings, location sharing, and navigating social media in healthy ways, especially within relationships. Come learn practical tools and “social media relationship hacks” that can help you protect your boundaries and feel more confident online. Open to all students.
- February 11th: Green Flag Cards with CARE
- What does a healthy relationship look like to you? Meet with CARE to create a “green flag” card for someone in your life who represents respect, safety, and support. This can be for a romantic partner, friend, family member, or mentor, anyone who shows up for you in meaningful ways. Let’s celebrate healthy connections together. Open to all students.
- February 25th: Succulents & Self-care with CARE
- What does a healthy relationship look like to you? Meet with CARE to create a “green flag” card for someone in your life who represents respect, safety, and support. This can be for a romantic partner, friend, family member, or mentor, anyone who shows up for you in meaningful ways. Let’s celebrate healthy connections together. Open to all students.
- March 11th: Alcohol Safety with CARE
- Spring break is around the corner, let’s talk safety. Meet with CARE to engage in interactive alcohol education activities focused on harm reduction, boundaries, and looking out for yourself and others. This session is all about making informed choices and staying safe during spring break and beyond. Open to all students.
- March 25th: Tote Bags & What we Carry with CARE
- join CARE for a space to reflect and reset. Lily will guide a conversation about the mental and emotional loads we carry and the different ways we can unpack them. While you chat, decorate your own tote bag as a reminder that support is always available, and you don’t have to carry everything alone. Open to all students.
- April 8th: Denim Day Keychains with CARE
- What is Denim Day and why does it matter? Come make a denim keychain with CARE while learning about the history and significance of Denim Day and how to support sexual assault survivors. This is a meaningful way to show solidarity and learn how to be an informed and supportive community member. Open to all students.
- April 15th: Dirty Sodas & Caring Support with CARE
- Join CARE by making your own dirty soda! While mixing your drink, learn about how to support friends and loved ones who may be experiencing relationship violence. Lily and Crystal will share ways to show up with care, empathy, and understanding—because support can make a difference.

4:00 - 5:00 PM, @ LCC beginning January 21st
All students are welcome to drop in to speak to the LCC Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) liaison. This is an informal session to check in on how the semester is going and to see how CAPS can further support you. This is open to all Purdue University students. End April 29th.
Spanish Conversation Tables

Purdue University and Greater Lafayette community members are invited to practice their Spanish conversation skills with Heritage Spanish Speaker Silvana. No quizzes or tests, just fun speaking Spanish!
