OTHER RESOURCES:
JARDIN SEMILLAS
This community garden is full of vegetables, fruits and herbs that are used against food insecurity on Purdue's campus. Flowers meant to attract pollinators make up a part of the garden. Bring your food scraps (fruits/veggies) to our compost bin located outside the back entrance. The community is welcome to harvest on Thursdays from 11AM-1PM. However, the garden will not be in use for the AY 2020.
LIBRARY
Thanks to a private donation, the LCC library collection surpasses 1,000 texts on Latin American and U.S. Latinx history, politics, culture, and literature. Search our collection here.
NAP NOOK
We understand that our students need to decompress, retreat and be mindful. Use one-person couch to get away for 10 minutes or a couple of hours. This space is semi-private. The nap nook will be out of use during the Fall 2020 semester.
KITCHEN
Our kitchen is not ServSafe certified and, therefore, may not be used by the public. However, the LCC staff is ServSafe certified, which is useful if your organization would like to serve food at the LCC. The LCC will not host events in Fall 2020, and will not serve hot food.
KOALA CHANGING STATION
Our restroom is family-friendly and includes a diaper changing station for your little one.
ADA ACCESS
The LCC provides parking and ramp access to the facility. Additionally, the first floor provides an ADA ITaP computer and ADA restroom.
PARKING
There is no parking at the LCC. Street parking on Waldron may be available. Nearby lots and garages may be available after 5PM (check signs).
