Whether teaching online or onsite, these Teaching Guides provide resources explore new directions for your course.

Instructional Video Teaching Guide

Are you interested in creating instructional videos for your course, but are not sure where to start? This Teaching Guide can help with where to start, guiding you through how to approach incorporating videos into your course. Whether you are unsure of which tools to use or which pedagogical tips to guide you through the process, this Teaching Guide has been designed to introduce you to all of the concepts that you will need to know for engaging and professional video content.

TLCoP resources on AI/LLM Resources & other topics

The Teaching and Learning community of practice responded to priority topics raised by instructors, including mostly recently artificial intelligence and large language models (AI/LLM). With the announcement of Purdue’s new AI@Purdue strategy, Innovative Learning’s efforts are focused on Learning with AI and instructional resources like AI Bytes. TLCoP will no longer hold sessions but past recordings related to AI/LLM are available here. Instructors seeking another community of practice may consider the Center for Instructional Excellence’s Student Pedagogy Advocates weekly Pedagogy Circles, reading groups offered each semester by CIE, and/or the monthly Teaching Academy Roundtables.
