Graduation and Retention Rates
Graduation and retention rates are an executive priority and one of IDA+A’s major areas of focus for the year. Several projects are underway in support of that work, and more information will be shared in the coming months.
Current areas of focus include:
- Identifying curricular pathways that frequently push graduation past four years
- Aligning course availability with plans of study
- Optimizing CODO pathways so a change of major does not automatically delay graduation
If you receive questions about graduation and retention rates, send them to idata@purdue.edu for review to see whether similar work is already in progress.
Dashboard Announcements and Enhancements
- Course Demand Projections Management Dashboard
- The Course Demand dashboard is built for schedule deputies and department heads planning course offerings. It remains on Management Dashboards for now and will eventually move to Curricular Analytics. We will announce that move before it happens.
- Active Curricula Dashboard
- In partnership with the Office of the Registrar, the Active Curricula dashboard is now available. Find it with the Registrar’s other curriculum tools at Curriculum Resources and Reports.
Purdue Student Data Warehouse
Admissions content will be the next area to be released in the new Purdue Student Data Warehouse, and a new Admissions star training is now available in Success Factors to assist with the transition. The student data community will receive targeted communication as the rollout date gets closer.
The Admissions work is a larger overhaul than earlier phases. It brings new features, cleans up existing content, and fills gaps as the content build progresses. IDA+A is excited about the coming improvements to standard content.
Report Updates
Reports that have been removed are listed with their replacements in the Obsolete Student Content specification in Data Cookbook.
