Plus, you can get prescriptions sent to your pharmacy of choice if medically necessary. Medical providers can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for your non-emergency conditions, including:

Machine Readable Files

The Consolidated Appropriations Act and Transparency in Coverage regulations require health insurers and group health plans to create machine readable files that contain the negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts derived from historical claims for out-of-network providers and make those files publicly available. A machine readable file is a digital representation of data or information in a file that can be imported or read by a computer system for further processing without human intervention. Member-friendly consumer price transparency tool that will be available in 2023 and 2024.

To locate and view the Machine-Readable File information

  • Go to link https://transparency-in-coverage.uhc.com/      
  • Hit Ctrl-F on your keyboard to bring up a search bar.
  • Type in Purdue University Global and the associated MRFs will appear.
  • Example:  2022-07-01_customer name_Choice-Plus_in-network-rates.json.
  • Multiple files may appear. Select the ones with your company name and the information and area of interests (network rates, allowed amounts, etc.).

UnitedHealthcare, UMR and HealthSCOPE Benefits creates and publishes the Machine-Readable Files on behalf of Purdue University Global. Files will be updated monthly in accordance with the requirements.
