Human Resources Mission, Vision, and Strategic Goals For You

Get access to board-certified doctors 24/7

Getting sick can happen anytime, anywhere; now, medical treatment is also available anytime, anywhere. With LiveHealth Online, the doctor visit comes to you if you have Internet access and a smart phone, tablet or computer with a camera. It’s a convenient, lower cost option for care when your doctor isn’t available or it’s difficult for you to leave your home or office. In just a few minutes you can connect for a face-to-face visit. Visits typically last about 10 minutes, so you are in, out, and on your way to feeling better, faster.

Services Offered

LiveHealth Online doctors can assist with many different health issues, such as:

  • Colds
  • Flu
  • Allergies
  • Sinus infections
  • Bronchitis
  • Diarrhea
  • Pinkeye and other eye infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Minor rashes

The doctor can send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, if you are prescribed one during your visit. If the online doctor is notified by the pharmacy that your prescription requires prior authorization, the online doctor will contact you for information. If you do not respond to the online doctor in a timely manner, the prior authorization can’t be completed and you will not receive your prescription.

Health Records

If you set up a LiveHealth Online account, you can allow doctors to access and review your health information from past visits. Also, to help keep track of your own health information, you can self-report it at livehealthonline.com. Go to the My Health tab and then select My Health Record

Requested Documents

Sick slips and medical clearance to return to work or school are available if requested during the visit and will include the date of the visit, recommended date to return to work or school and any restrictions. The doctor will only be able to provide medical clearance for a reasonable number of days and is based on the doctor’s clinical judgment. Copies of sick slips are saved in the online system for your convenience.

Completion of forms such as: Family and Medical Leave Act, disability/insurance, request related to service dogs, DMV forms, or school/camp forms are not available.  These types of forms require the patient to have an ongoing established relationship with a primary care physician such as a family practice physician, pediatrician or other medical doctor. Completion of these forms often requires an in-person physical exam and lab tests, which cannot be done through an online physician visit.

LiveHealth Online is also a convenient, low cost alternative to the Center for Healthy Living for acute care after hours or on weekends. In addition to the treatment of acute medical care, LiveHealth Online Psychology offers face-to-face time with a licensed therapist or psychologist.

Please note: LiveHealth Online is not for emergencies. If you’re experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately.
