Stephen Meyers has been chosen as a 2023 North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Outstanding Young Alumnus. The award recognizes a select group of alumni for significant contributions to NCSU and one’s profession and community. Department Head, Linda Prokopy, traveled to Chicago this week with April Shepherd from Ag Development. Highlights of the trip included visiting with Ball Horticulture’s 3 Purdue interns (including Ian Kelly, a HORT major, and Kayla Grennes, an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Ying Li’s lab) and visiting with Distinguished Ag Alum, Dr. Marvin Miller.
