On August 18, the College of Agriculture held a ‘Welcome Back” Flower Arranging Staff Networking Event taught by Mary Lou Hayden. She walked the attendees through the fundamentals of arranging flowers and the different arranging styles. Attendees were able to take their creations with them. Two sessions were offered and quickly filled up.

Widhalm laboratory undergraduate student Libby Sorenson presents at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. Libby spent the summer working in the Widhalm laboratory as part of the Purdue Undergraduate Research Experiences for Plant Biology and Data Science (PURE-PD) program. She was mentored by HLA graduate student George Meyer to investigate plant resistance mechanisms to the allelochemical juglone.
