On Friday, August 19, HLA faculty, staff, postdocs, and grad students gathered together at the Beck Center for the annual fall retreat. We welcomed new HLA faculty, staff, and graduate students, and the morning was spent on working on HLA’s strategic plan and gaining input on the HLA website. The afternoon agenda involved a curriculum review and an article discussion.
