Janet Baker to Retire

After a total of 17 fantastic years, Janet Baker, Administrative Assistant Lead, will retire at the end of May. Janet has been an integral part of Purdue Bands & Orchestras since she started in this position in March of 2017 and was an especially valuable team member during the move out of Elliott Hall of Music and into Hagle Hall. Janet’s Purdue career began in 2007 in the Krannert School of Management Dean’s Office. She also worked in the Director of Business Managers office and was an account clerk in Purdue Bands & Orchestras prior to moving into the administrative assistant role. We will miss Janet as she transitions to a retirement filled with travel, family time, and especially grandchildren.
