Please RSVP for the Music and Auxiliary Rehearsal on Friday, November 6th, from 6-8 PM. The deadline for RSVP is Monday, October 26th. There will be free parking in the University St. Parking garage after 5 PM on Friday for rehearsal. Street parking around the Co-rec is mostly “ParkMobile” spots and can be paid for through their app and by credit card on your phone.

If family or friends are joining for the game and you would like them to sit near the band, use the button below to purchase their tickets. The Alumni Marching Band will be seated in Section 130, with family and friends seated in Section 129

Notes for our instrumentalists:

• Print your music before arriving on campus.
• Bring your own mouthpiece, reeds, ligatures, and neck straps. These will not be available to borrow.
• Everyone will need to supply their own lyre and flip folio, even if you are borrowing an instrument.
• Bass trombones are extremely limited. If you selected this instrument in your registration and are not bringing your own, you will most likely be asked to play tenor trombone for the weekend.
• We do not have alto saxophones, clarinets, or piccolos available to borrow. If you selected that you need to borrow one of those three instruments, please attempt to source your own from local schools and bring it with you.
• If you have concerns about being able to source an instrument to bring with you, or any of the other items listed, please reach out to pbosupply@purdue.edu

Big Ten Flags: If you have a flag preference, please email Coach Morgan Loetz at masher@purdue.edu. If multiple members have a preference for the same flag, seniority will take priority.

Instrumentalist Uniform: White Alumni Band polo, white Alumni Band hat, black pants/shorts, and comfortable shoes

Drum Major Uniform: Black Alumni Drum Major polo, white Alumni Band hat, black pants/shorts, and comfortable shoes

Auxiliary Team Uniform: Black Auxiliary Team T-Shirt, black pants/shorts, and comfortable shoes

*Be sure to select the shirt with your team’s logo on it (i.e., Golduster Dance Team, Purdue Twirling, or Golden Silks Color Guard).

*It will be chilly, so feel free to layer up. If you are an instrumentalist/Big Ten Flag wearing a white Alumni Marching Band Polo, you can wear white long-sleeved shirts underneath while performing, and a coat when you are not performing. If you are an auxiliary, you can wear a black long-sleeved shirt under your black auxiliary shirt while performing, and a coat when you are not performing.

Consult the Purdue University Parking Map before returning to campus for available parking and ADA options.

Some areas around campus will require special “Game Day Parking Passes”. Consult the Purdue Football Parking map to purchase a parking pass to specific garages and lots around campus.

Alumni Marching Band Schedule:

Friday, November 6th Check-in/Instrument Pickup: 4:30 – 5:45 PM

Music and Auxiliary Rehearsal: 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Location: France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center – Feature Gym

*This rehearsal is not mandatory, but highly recommended for both instrumentalists and auxiliaries.

Saturday, November 7th Check-in/Instrument Pickup: 5 hours before kickoff

Rehearsal: 4 hours before kickoff

Location: Hull Field

Homecoming game and halftime performance Location: Ross-Ade Stadium

*Saturday’s schedule is fully dependent on the Homecoming kickoff time. We will announce set times as soon as possible.
