Advisory Board Member
Margaret Heger
Class of 2001
Margaret earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2001 and has remained a dedicated supporter of Purdue Bands & Orchestras throughout her career. As a student, she was an active member of Purdue Concert Bands and the Boiler Brass men’s basketball pep band. Her experiences as a student musician helped shape her Purdue journey and fostered a lifelong appreciation for music, teamwork, and school spirit.
Professionally, Margaret serves as a pediatric pharmacy supervisor and residency program director, where she is committed to advancing clinical excellence, mentoring future pharmacists, and supporting professional development in pediatric pharmacy. Her leadership has focused on both patient care and the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
As an alumna, Margaret has remained closely connected to Purdue Bands & Orchestras through philanthropic support, including contributions toward Hagle Hall and the establishment of a scholarship for Purdue Bands & Orchestras students. She values the opportunity to give back to an organization that played an important role in her personal and professional development. One of her greatest joys today is being a Purdue Band parent, as one of her children is actively involved in the “All-American” Marching Band, Boiler Brass, and Purdue concert bands.
