Silver Twins
This dazzling duo adds a splash of silver to the team. Traditionally twins or look-a-likes in this feature position, they twirl in precise coordination with one another.
In the 1960’s twirling twins Karon and Sharon Roeske attended Purdue. Al G. Wright, who was director of bands at the time said, “The chance of finding twins that are twirlers in a million to one, so I named them the ‘Silver Twins’ and put them on the field.”
