Purdue Twirling

Purdue Twirling originated with the first majorette line in the “All-American” Marching Band. In 1939, the Band opened its doors to women, becoming one of the first student activities to do so. Since then, Purdue Twirling has flourished into a competitive team that has earned many national accolades in recent years.

The Purdue “All-American” Marching Band has five of the most coveted collegiate solo twirling positions in the country. Our Feature Twirlers represent some of the most talented and accomplished student performers on-campus.
