Tuesday, February 20: Stronger Through Struggle
Acquire the personal and professional skill of how to tap into your inner strength and bounce back from hardships in this series. Learn how to reduce stress in the midst of adversity, boost optimism, and become more comfortable taking chances. Register at Member Services (5:00pm-6:15pm).

Tuesday, March 21: Figuring out Finances
Finances can be hard. Get your grounding with the help of professionals from the Financial Aid Office as they share information about financial literacy. Register at Member Services (6:00pm-7:00pm).

Tuesday, April 10: Stress Smash Session
Come try out some unconventional ways to de-stress as we shatter our stress into pieces with sporting clays, vent with scream therapy, and find our inner peace with meditation. We will be in the Wellness Meeting Room. Register at Member Services (6:00pm-7:00pm).

All fitness sessions will be held in the Wellness Conference Room unless otherwise noted.

Wednesday, February 21: Stretch for Strength
Participants will learn yoga poses that allow for a deep stretch through movement and connection of body and mind. Leave this workshop feeling strong and rejuvenated (7:00pm-7:45pm).

Wednesday, March 28: Bodyweight Training
No time for the gym? No problem! This session will teach you how to do a workout using bodyweight—no equipment needed (7:00pm-7:45pm).

Wednesday, April 18: Outdoor Yoga
This yoga class will connect your body, mind, and breath while enjoying Pickett Park and it’s surroundings. Bring a mat or towel (7:00pm-7:45pm) .

STRENGTH

Strength CRAVE sessions require a CoRec membership. 

Sunday, March 25: Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting

Sunday, March 25: Weightlifting Series—Squat
Our instructors will provide hands-on learning of proper form and tech-nique, as well as common errors during the squat. All levels are wel-come. Meet at the East Fitness Center Squat Racks. Register at Member Services(2:00pm-4:00pm).

Sunday, April 8: Weightlifting Series—Deadlift
Our instructors will work through the different deadlift variations and teach proper form and technique, as well as common errors during the lift. All levels are welcome. Meet in Olympic Platform room. Register at Member Services (2:00pm-4:00pm).

Sunday, April 15: Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting

Tuesday, February 20: Eat Right When Your Budget is Tight
Learn about how to lower the cost of eating healthy, including ways to plan meals and tips for buying nutritious foods without breaking the bank. Register at Member Services (7:00pm-8:00pm).

Wednesday, March 7: Color Your Plate With Vegetables
It can be hard to add vegetables to your diet, especially if you don’t like them! Discover how to add vegetables to your day in a delicious way. Register at Member Services (7:00pm-8:00pm).

Wednesday, April 11: Curbing Late Night Cravings
Many late night cravings can be managed without feeling the need for great restraint. Learn how to curb these cravings through eating and stress management tips. Register at Member Services (7:00pm-8:00pm).
