All Wellness Series will be held in the Wellness Conference room unless otherwise noted

Spiritual Well-being: November 21 (6-7pm)
Take a deep breath and relax as you learn to look inward to find balance. It can be easy to get thrown off with everything going on, but taking the time to refocus on what’s important is rejuvenating! Learn ways to live with greater well-being by focusing on values and others.

Study Break: December 7 (6-7pm in MP4)
The semester is over, well almost. Come destress by letting out steam or just enjoy being done with it all. This a completely tactile, hands on session. Release your stress over finals or show off your joy of being done as we smash, yell and celebrate the end of the semester!

Yoga For a Healthy Back: October 18 (7:00pm-7:45pm)
Build a healthy relationship with your spine! This class will allow us to find proper alignment through our back while practicing yoga and breathing techniques to help recognize and release tension. 

Mindful Meditation & Yoga: December 6 (7:00pm-7:45pm)
This yoga class will connect your body, mind, and breath to a place of complete relaxation while reliving muscle tension. Following this flow, our bodies will become rejuvenated and refreshed.


Weightlifing Series - Deadlift: October 29 (2:00pm-4:00pm)
The deadlift is often referred to as the “king” of all exercises. However, the deadlift is a technical lift that must be performed properly to decrease risk of injury. Our instructors will work through the different deadlift variations and teach proper form and technique, as well as common errors during the lift. If you are new to the deadlift or a veteran of the lift, there is always something to learn! Meet in Olympic Platform room. Register at Member Services.

Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting: November 5 (2:00pm-4:00pm)
In the Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting clinic, participants will learn the basic components of the two main lifts, snatch and clean & jerk. Participants will get hands-on experience learning the tips to effectively perform each lift with proper technique and form. Meet in Olympic Platform room.  Register at Member Services.

Corrective Exercise Workshop: November 9 (6:00pm-8:00pm)
Poor posture and muscular imbalances can be a big contributor to our everyday aches and pains. This clinic will go through a thorough posture assessment as well as various movement screens to identify areas of improvement. Our personal trainers will then take you through exercises to strengthen and stretch those problematic areas. Meet in Personal Training Studio.  Register at Member Services. 


All Nutrition classes will take place in the Wellness Conference room

Mindful Eating 101: November 8 (7-8pm)
Throw out the diet plans. Learn how to use your senses to eat mindfully and reject the diet mentality.

Savor the Flavor of the Holidays: December 7 (7-8pm)
During the holidays, it is hard to moderate intake when there are so many feasts presented to you. Once January hits, many feel the need to start the New Year with a new diet plan. Skip the need for a diet reboot, and learn how to savor meals that balance both indulgence and moderation.
