Course Evaluation - Students

LOGIN to Access the Evaluation Site

Evaluations

When evaluations become available you will receive an automated email via the official address listed in the Purdue directory with a link to the evaluation site. You may also access available evaluations from Brightspace. After logging onto the evaluation site, you will see a screen that lists all available surveys. Once completed, the survey will be listed with date and time completed.

Confidentiality is the central tenet of the course evaluation system. No individual is able to see ANY responses to an evaluation until grades have been submitted and finalized for the particular course. The system does not allow an instructor to connect ANY quantitative responses with an individual student. Qualitative responses are also confidential unless a student identifies him or herself in the written comments.

Each instructor who is evaluated sees collective responses from all students who participated in the course evaluation. Department heads, program administrators and select faculty members or administrators such as a course or lab coordinator may view class results.

Departments do not request evaluations for every class, especially if the class has low enrollment or is a graduate course.

 Why Every Evaluation Matters

Proof of Evaluation Completion

Purdue strongly encourages students to offer their input but does not mandate that students complete evaluations. Instructors, however, may require you to submit an evaluation. Students receive a proof of evaluation email after each evaluation is submitted. Please forward this email to your instructor as proof of completion.
