Before the excitement of Family Weekend 2018 is upon campus, Boilermakers from near and far will come to campus for Homecoming on Saturday, September 22nd. This year’s homecoming celebration will also kick off 150 Years of Giant Leaps- a yearlong celebration for Purdue’s Sesquicentennial and will conclude with Homecoming 2019.

Purdue Alert is the mass notification process utilized by Purdue University to share information about imminent threats to safety and health for the West Lafayette Purdue University community. Purdue Alert messages are shared through multiple layers, based on the specifics of the emergency, in order to provide brief information messages quickly to as many people as possible. More.

PASE, Center for Career Opportunities to hold mock career fair Sept. 5

Purdue Student Alumni Experience and the Center for Career Opportunities on Sept. 5 will host a mock career fair for students, sponsored by Macy’s.

Participants can get a free, professional-quality head shot for use on LinkedIn, chat with volunteer recruiters who can provide advice and feedback, consult with a beauty stylist on makeup and grooming, and receive resume critiques. Macy’s also will be hosting a pop-up store where students can talk with a stylist and enter to win a gift card. Professional business attire is encouraged.

Purdue dairy-free frozen yogurt startup to launch first self-serve kiosk on campus

FroYo XPress, a frozen yogurt startup created by Purdue University students, will open its first self-serve kiosk this fall in Purdue University’s Third Street Market, providing two dairy-free flavors and three toppings. More.

Plans are underway for events for the upcoming Family Weekend November 2-4. The Family Weekend website with a list of events will launch September 12, with registration for Family Weekend Events opening on September 18. “Building Purdue: 150 Years of the West Lafayette Campus”

The “Building Purdue” exhibit opened this week and it is located in the Stewart Center. It provides a chance to take visitors back in time to see how much the campus has changed in not just the past 150 years, but even in last five years. Purdue University Disability Resource Center (DRC) announces “Disability Culture Series”.

This Fall Purdue's Disability Resource Center will be hosting a "Disability Culture Series". The first event is a talk called “Disability: Questioning What You Think You Know” planned for this Wed, Sep 5 at 6:30 pm in WALC 3148. These events are open to anyone who would like to attend.
