Fall Family Weekend
Parent & Family Connections appreciates your interest and engagement in Purdue's Family Weekend, September 12-14, 2025! This weekend is all about creating family memories, meeting other families, learning more about the campus, and experiencing the energy of West Lafayette and Indianapolis. From fun activities to educational events, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Registration for 2025 Fall Family Weekend - CLOSED 8/27 - we will offer on-site registration during indicated Friday and Saturday check-in times
Your registration fee helps make this special weekend possible. Each registrant will receive a Family Weekend wristband, which provides access to a variety of events and exclusive discounts from our community partners. Your support also helps cover the behind-the-scenes essentials that bring Family Weekend to life, including registration services (both online and onsite), event materials, facility rentals, staffing, and service fees. Family Weekend is a self-supported celebration created especially for Purdue families, and we’re truly grateful that your participation helps make it all happen.

Registration closes 12 p.m.. (noon) Eastern, Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
No refunds will be provided for the registration fee . $2 from each household registration fees will be donated to the Purdue Parents Fund to help students flourish and empower the next generation of Boilermakers to lead, grow, and become lifelong learners. Your contributions enhance the Purdue experience for all.

Family Weekend T-Shirt
Free Family Weekend t-shirts will be available for Indianapolis registrants at the Indianapolis check-in location.
West Lafayette registrants can pick up their t-shirt by showing their wristbands at the University Book Store.
Shirts are available as supplies last.

The goal of our event is to showcase the opportunities and career paths offered to First-Year Purdue Engineering students, welcome families to campus, and share the great things that are happening in Engineering, as well as talk to your student seeking their specialized area of study.
This event offers visitors the opportunity to tour Purdue’s historic University Hall, highlighting its rich history and recent updates. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with the College of Liberal Arts Career Services Team and Academic Advisors—providing valuable resources for academic and career planning. The experience is designed to be informative and engaging for all visitors.

Fans, especially families, looking for fun before home games will want to check out the popular Boilermaker Crossing. Meet-the-team events, inflatable games, and interactive opportunities highlight the list of activities. The Boilermaker Crossing is free and open to fans of all ages.
Welcome the Boilermakers to campus and cheer them on into the locker room. This event will feature a pep band, giveaways, Purdue Pete and the cheerleaders and the Boilermaker Special. The team will be dropped off at the corner of Joe Tiller Drive & John R. Wooden Drive.
Join the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) for our annual Family Day tailgate.

Looking for a peaceful alternative to game day? Join other Purdue families for nature hikes at the 100-acres of untamed woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and a 35-acre lake, featuring site-specific artworks. This 45-minute to 1-hour walk is a great way to connect with nature and fellow Boilermaker families. Come enjoy the outdoors, make new connections, and experience a different kind of Purdue spirit—no hiking boots required (but they help)! Parking is free and accessible for all visitors. The parking lot entrance is located at 1850 West 38th Street, about half a block west of the main Newfields entrance. If you're driving, note that the park entrance can only be accessed from westbound 38th Street, off the exit ramp for North White River Parkway East Drive. The park is also reachable by walking or biking, with access from the Central Canal Towpath.

With more than 250 acres of greenspace just minutes from the Purdue University in Indianapolis campus, White River State Park is the perfect getaway to visit during Family Weekend.
The park is home to seven world-class attractions, including the Eiteljorg Museum, Everwise Amphitheater, IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum, Indiana State Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, NCAA Hall of Champions, and Victory Field.
