Purdue University, in collaboration with Accenture, a global professional services company renowned for its expertise in strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations, launched a program designed to equip the manufacturing workforce with the foundational knowledge and behaviors essential for embracing and utilizing emerging technology. This program, led by Purdue’s distinguished faculty, leverages their extensive research and teaching experience to provide a robust educational foundation in Manufacturing 4.0 principles.

5G Education Program with Qualcomm

Purdue University is proud to offer students access to Qualcomm’s comprehensive 5G education program. This unique opportunity allows students to delve into the world of 5G technology through two specialized courses developed by Qualcomm Technologies. Learners benefit from the expertise of experienced engineers, gaining practical, industry-relevant knowledge directly from leaders in wireless technology. With the convenience of online and self-paced formats, these courses provide flexible learning options to fit the varied schedules of students globally.

SEMI University

SEMI University is the global training platform of SEMI, designed to equip professionals across the semiconductor and electronics industries with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills. Offering over 360 on-demand, online courses, SEMI University serves engineers, technicians, and business leaders by addressing workforce development needs across the semiconductor value chain. The platform partners with leading institutions—including Purdue University Online—to expand access to specialized learning opportunities, such as AI microcredentials, that support the rapid growth and innovation of the semiconductor industry.

Simplilearn

Purdue University partners with Simplilearn, an international online bootcamp for digital economy skills training, to offer a range of non-credit courses for professionals looking to jump-start their careers in high-demand fields such as data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and supply chain and digital marketing. The non-credit courses use a combination of self-paced videos and live virtual classes to enable hands-on exposure to practical, industry-aligned learning. Simplilearn is the entity responsible for all sales and learner interactions. There are no credits awarded by Purdue as Simplilearn is the institution of record.

Ziplines Education

Purdue University partners with Ziplines Education to offer high-quality, workforce-ready certificate programs designed to meet the demands of today’s rapidly evolving job market. Through this collaboration, learners can access flexible, instructor-supported online courses in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, digital marketing, business analytics, project management, and Salesforce administration.

IEEE

The Purdue University School of Electrical and Computer Engineering collaborated with the Product Safety Engineering Society (PSES) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to develop an introduction of basic knowledge and skills to effectively integrate safety principles into engineering design. This short course covers analyzing and integrating safety features into product design, understanding ethical and legal responsibilities, and identifying key principles for design safety considerations.
