February ‘One Hour With HR’ segments to focus on employee wellness

“One Hour With HR” learning segments (in-person and virtual options) were introduced in late 2023 to provide opportunities for staff and supervisors to become better informed about relevant HR topics and to connect with others.

As the university continues to prioritize overall health and wellness via its Healthy Boiler Program and pillars (behavioral healthfinancial wellnessphysical healthsocial wellness and work-life integration), the “One Hour With HR” segments in February will cover employee wellness.

The sessions will cover the wellness programs and resources available to employees, discussing all five pillars of health and how they contribute to overall wellness. Sessions specific to supervisors will provide coaching on how to guide and support their employees through the five pillars of health and help identify resources available to assist with meeting their needs.
