Notice of Intent & Market Research (Market Research Driven)

Market Research

Steps:

  1. Purdue Online will receive market research done by a 3rd party every 3-6 months. Including:
    1. Enrollment projections
    2. Market position
    3. Pricing
  2. Market research will be published, and a call for proposals will be issued. Specific departments may be asked to participate.

Who is Involved:

Purdue Online (Initiator)
Online Education Marketing Research Firms (e.g. Education Advisory Board/Eduventures/Burning Glass) (Collaborator)

Steps:

  1. Please submit a Notice of Intent through Microsoft Forms.
  2. You will be notified if there are potential opportunities to collaborate with others in the system.
  3. If interested in learning what others are intending to offer online, please visit this Online Portfolio Management site.

Questions to Consider:

  • Are faculty interested in developing the proposed online non-credit offering?
  • Is there corporate interest in the online offering? Is there interest by any affinity groups?
