Instructors invited to Pedagogy Circles every Monday

The Center for Instructional Excellence (CIE) invites Purdue West Lafayette instructors to join weekly Pedagogy Circles each Monday, 1-2 p.m., in the Purdue Black Cultural Center, 1100 3rd St. These casual one-hour discussions are led by Student Pedagogy Advocates (SPAs), undergraduate students interested in enhancing teaching and learning at PWL.

Throughout the semester, each session of Pedagogy Circles will feature topics for conversation, such as:
-How to encourage engaging classroom discussions.
-Strategies to implement inclusive and accessible pedagogies.
-Using artificial intelligence for course materials.

Through collaborative conversation between students and instructors, the SPAs look forward to seeing how Pedagogy Circles positively influences teaching and learning at PWL. Everyone is welcome to the weekly conversations. For questions, contact Dan Guberman at dguberma@purdue.edu.
