Purdue students in Indianapolis are taking advantage of career-centered programs to get real-world experiences through internships and co-ops with Indiana companies. One such program in Indianapolis, the Guaranteed Work Experience program, prepares students for internships and builds more internship opportunities with engineering and technology companies. This is helping our students in Indianapolis build professional networks and gain valuable career experience early in their academic journey. More than 600 students have already enrolled in the opt-in program, with many incoming students joining this fall.
It was great to see Patrick Francis and Purdue student Joseph Braun share how the program is opening doors while helping strengthen central Indiana’s workforce and economy.
