I recently sat down with Gerry Dick on Business & Beyond to discuss the future of Purdue University in Indianapolis and the momentum we’re gaining for our students, city and state.
We dove into how Purdue is building a future-focused model that connects higher education directly with industry demands and community priorities—opening new pathways for student achievement while driving regional growth. On top of that, we’re building a campus community where students thrive as future leaders and well-rounded people.
As a first-generation college student myself, that mission is deeply personal, and it’s the core of why I love this work. I believe whole-heartedly that a degree is one of the most powerful levers for unlocking human potential.
Many thanks to Gerry and the team for a thoughtful dialogue.
