Hack Indy 2026 made an immediate impression, leaving me with a strong sense of pride and optimism about what our students are building in Indianapolis. The Purdue Computer Science Club’s second annual hackathon was an extraordinary achievement, shaped by the thoughtful and energetic leadership of co‑presidents Abha Gupta and Om Janamanchi. The result was an experience defined by ambitious vision, strong execution and a genuine commitment to learning in community.
By the numbers:
– 130 participants including students, faculty, IT staff and research scientists
– 33 projects developed and judged by industry experts
– 20 sponsors and partners who helped make it possible
Hack Indy reflects the trailblazing spirit of Purdue students in Indianapolis — students who are building something new and setting a high bar for what’s possible.
