Eunyoung Seo received her PhD from Seoul National University in plant sciences, focusing on genome-wide evolutionary studies of disease resistance genes. She has been working at the Innovative Genomics Institute at UC Berkeley on elucidating the genomic basis of plant immunity responses and CRISPR-mediated genome editing for disease resistance in crop plants, such as tomato, rice and wheat. With more than 10 years of experience in plant molecular biology, her knowledge, skills and experience span plant genomics, bioinformatics and molecular plant-microbe interactions. She is seeking a position where she can utilize her skills and expertise in research and/or education.
