Celina Gómez


Former HLA graduate student and postdoctoral Research Associate Dr. Fatemeh Sheibani, Professor Celina Gómez, Michigan State Professor Erik Runkle, and Professor Emeritus Cary Mitchell have published a research article in JASHS entitled Interaction of far-red radiation and CO2 concentration at moderate total photon flux density stimulates biomass accumulation in young leaf lettuce.


Former MS student Lian Durón, along with Celina Gómez, has just published a paper based on Lian’s master’s research. The study, titled “Evaluating the Effect of Temperature and Light During Cold Storage of Strawberry Transplants and Runner Tips,” appears in the journal Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology.


Dr. Fatemeh Sheibani, Professor Celina Gómez, and Professor Emeritus Cary Mitchell, along with collaborators from the Sierra Space Corporation, have published a research article in connection with the OptimIA SCRI project entitled Interactive Effects of Photon Flux Density and Carbon Dioxide Concentration on Energy-use Efficiency for Indoor Baby-greens Production.
