The “Irrigation Workshop for Small-Scale Producers” took place on September 4 at the Southwest Purdue Agricultural Center. On August 20, Wenjing Guan, together with plant pathologists César Escalante-Guardado and Dan Egel, visited plain community produce growers in Wayne County, IN, a trip organized by ANR educator Jonathan Ferris. We toured various vegetable fields, engaging with the growers in discussions about the challenges and success of this growing season.
