On Thursday, June 2, Lori Hoagland, Karen Mitchell with Nathan Shoaf (Purdue Extension/Urban Agriculture Program) partnered with SWCD’s Urban Soil Health Director, Elli Blaine, to host the “Get the Dirt: Urban Soil Health Conference” for over 100 participants. The conference was followed by a farm tour and dinner at Maple Hill Farm in West Point.


Josué Cerritos is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and graduated from Zamorano University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and production.
