Shawn Zhu received his B.M. in Medicine from Peking University in 2002, and Ph.D. in Biophysics from Medical College of Wisconsin in 2010, where he developed methods for early detection of myocardial infarction using various imaging techniques such as MRI, echocardiography, and nuclear imaging. Dr. Zhu came to Purdue in 2014 as a postdoctoral researcher and manager for departmental zebrafish and microscopy facilities. In 2022, he joined the Bindley Bioscience Center as the Director of Purdue Imaging Facility.
