Purdue Twirlers Set for 2024-2025 Season

The 2023-2024 class of Purdue Twirlers.

The Purdue “All-American” Marching Band has selected twirlers for the upcoming school year.

Golden Girl Emily Cowette is a current junior. This will be her 3rd year in the position. She is from Londonderry, New Hampshire, majoring in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Emily began twirling at age 6 and was a Silver Twin her Freshman Year. She was the 2023 AYOP Senior World Open 3-Baton Champion.

Girl-in-Black Katie Harris is a current junior and served as Miss Boilerette for the last 2 years. She is from Fort Collins, Colorado and is majoring in Interior Design and a minor in Construction Documentation. This past summer at the 2023 IBTF Nations Cup, she was the Adult X-Strut Gold Medalist.

Miss Boilerette Ireland Jones is a current freshman and was a member of the All-American Twirling Team. Ireland is from Carmel, Indiana and is majoring in Communication with a minor in Nutrition.

Silver Twins: Alana Diedrick, current junior, will be in 3rd year in this position. She is from Broadview, Ohio and majoring in Biomedical Health Sciences with a Pre-Dental Concentration.

Joining her this season on the field will be Audrey Circle, an incoming freshman. Audrey is from West Lafayette, Indiana majoring in Communication.

Nine positions were offered with the “All-American” Twirling Team to current juniors Clara Berg and Emma Alexander, current sophomores Anna Hardesty, Dallas Ingle, and Lili Breunig, current freshman Meghan Zoll, and incoming freshman Allie Nitz and Morgan Smith.
