- If you would like to explore the possibility of converting your course into a service-learning course -- or even making a component of your course be service-learning -- contact one of the Community of Service-Learning Faculty Fellows (CSLFF). These faculty members are interested into promoting the practice of service-learning on campus and would be happy to help you get started. You can contact them through the Center for Instructional Excellence at CIE@purdue.edu, or by phone at 496-6422.
- There are two grant programs that you can apply for funds to help you incorporate service-learning into your course. Annually, each of the deans of the ten academic colleges nominates someone from their college for this award. The grant is for $2,000. There are also a number of Community of Service-Learning Faculty Fellow Grants worth $5,000 that are awarded annually. Contact the Center for Instructional Excellence for more information about these grants.
