Student Success Programs honors outstanding staff members with Bravo+ awards

With the Bravo+ Award, eight staff members within Student Success Programs were recognized for moving the university forward, bringing innovation and creativity into their programs, working toward operational excellence, and promoting fiscal stewardship.

Bryan Arbic

Assistant Director, Dorothy Stratton Veteran and Military Success Center

Bryan was nominated by Morgan Torres due to his instrumental role in securing over $40,000 in donations to support military student programming.

Mandie Greiwe

Director, Disability Resource Center

Mandie was nominated by Dan Carpenter for making huge strides in improving the operations and culture of the DRC in such a short time.

Emily Jones

Communication Manager, Teaching & Learning

Emily was nominated by Andrea Mattingly for helping expand the communication team’s reach and capacity through various new systems and processes.

Dianne Pedroza

Assistant Director, Purdue Promise

Dianne was nominated by Lilli Hertel, Katelyn Simon and Jazmine Clifton for being a strong advocate for students and an encouraging supervisor for her staff

Sarah Peterson

Program Coordinator, Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center

Sarah was nominated by Karen Jacobsen and Mary Kirk for being an adaptable team member who took the lead on supplemental instruction and improved the program dramatically.

Maggie Smith

Senior Assistant Director, Orientation Programs

Maggie was nominated by Virginia Johnson for revamping processes so they align with university goals and ensure student success.

Dylan Whipple

Assistant Director, Purdue Promise

Dylan was nominated by Jazmine Clifton for supporting various programs and initiatives within Purdue Promise while growing meaningful connections with students.

Eileen White

Access Consultant, Disability Resource Center

Eileen was nominated by Mandie Greiwe for bringing awareness to neurodiversity and support access at Purdue, specifically with her presentation of “Neurodiversity and you,” which was presented to resident assistants and student leaders across campus.
