These events require that you register by 5:00 p.m. on April 9 for volunteering and t-shirts, and May 14 for the fitness walk and vehicle show. Volunteer Opportunities
Where: Next to the Food Tent, Memorial Mall
When: 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
WE NEED YOU! Did you know it takes 100-150 volunteers to make this event successful? You can volunteer to help with Spring Fling by registering here. By registering as a volunteer, you will receive three (3) additional door prize entries and a t-shirt! Deadline to register is April 9. Don't forget to check in at the Volunteer Table on May 21!
Your Path Fitness Walk/Run
Where: STEW - Loeb Foyer
When: Start between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. No starters after 2:00 p.m. All participants must finish by 3:30 p.m. The first 700 staff to register and complete the walk will receive a walk medal.
You must register by the deadline to participate and receive your medal. No registrations will be accepted via phone, email, or on event day. Finish any time before 3:30 p.m. An approximate three-mile, (5k), non-competitive walking/running event. This event may include some elevation and/or steps. Register online to participate in the walk/run. Deadline to register is 5:00 p.m. May 14. The walk/run will only be cancelled if there is a severe storm. Classic Vehicle Show
Where: Oval Drive, Memorial Mall
When: 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Open-class show of antique, classic and show cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Vehicles will be displayed around the Memorial Mall drive. All participants will receive an event dash plate and special awards will be presented. Register online to participate in the show. The show is open only to faculty, staff and retirees of Purdue University. Deadline to register is May 14.
Golf Outing
Sign up to play golf during Spring Fling at the cost $40 to walk and $60 with a cart. This special rate includes 18 holes.
Where: Ackerman-Allen Course
When: Tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Tee time reservations will begin on April 3 and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:00 a.m. Your Purdue Staff ID will be checked when you check in at the pro shop in the new clubhouse. Registration: Please call 496-9313 to reserve your tee time. Online reservations will not be accepted.

To be eligible, bring with you to Spring Fling your Staff Appreciation Entry Form found on this website. Deposit it at the Information Table by 2:00 p.m. on May 21. Winners will be notified via email or phone on May 22. A listing of winners will be available on this site after the drawing.
