Science Leaders of Tomorrow

Science Leaders of Tomorrow (SLT) is for admitted/prospective underrepresented students who have an interest or who have been admitted to the College of Science. During this experience, students will be able to explore Purdue's campus in a more intimate way and resources that are available to students and receive answers to the questions that are critical to their college consideration process.

After this weekend, students will be able to…

  • Experience, first-hand, what it means to be a college student and adjust to the academic rigor that they will encounter in college.
  •  Build critical new skills within a controlled program specifically designed to support Black/African American prospective college students.
  • articipate in social activities throughout the weekend to help them get to know how to build and interact with a new community, interact with other students, as well as members of our student success team.
