Advisors must be either full-time faculty, management, professional staff at Purdue University or otherwise approved by the Student Activities and Organizations Office. Individuals classified as clerical, administrative/ operational support, and graduate student staff are not eligible to be primary advisors to student organizations.

Required (Annually) Advisor Training

The advisor training is accessed through SuccessFactors. Go to https://one.purdue.edu/, click on Employee Launchpad-SAP SuccessFactors, and login. From the drop-down menu in the upper left side, change from “Home” to “Learning” and search for “Student Organization Advisor Training”.

To check the training completion/expiration dates, go to https://one.purdue.edu/, click on Employee Launchpad-SAP SuccessFactors and login. From the dropdown menu in the upper left side, change from “Home” to “Learning”. Click on the drop-down menu bar on the far right then select Learning History. The expiration date will be one year past the date taken.
