Description

The Purdue Women’s Global Health Institute (WGHI) and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) have partnered to solicit proposals of outstanding scientific merit addressing translational research of women’s health issues. Proposals focusing on prevention, early detection, health disparities, rural women’s health, and sex and gender differences from any discipline are encouraged, but not required. All funded project teams are expected to gather preliminary data to submit competitive applications to external funding agencies, or to seek support from an outside organization (e.g. companies, foundations, etc.) for continuation of the research.

Funding:

Research team may request up to $15,000.

Eligibility:

The PIs must be tenured/tenure-track, research, or clinical faculty at or above the assistant professor rank at Purdue University. Funds are restricted to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus personnel only.
