Tsuyoshi Morimoto is Vice President at DENSO International America, Inc., where he oversees Strategy Creation and Corporate Venture Capital within the R&D Division. Based in Silicon Valley, he leads efforts to identify emerging technologies, shape future business opportunities, and strengthen DENSO’s innovation ecosystem through collaboration with startups, venture capital firms, universities, and other external partners.

Throughout his career at DENSO, Morimoto has worked across research and development of future thermal systems, new business development in the digital domain, and open innovation. From 2019 to 2025, he was based in Bangalore, India, where he led initiatives leveraging data and digital technologies to address societal and industrial challenges.

In his current role, his focus spans areas including AI, mobility, energy, and advanced manufacturing, with particular emphasis on how emerging technologies can contribute to the future competitiveness and transformation of the automotive industry.
