Kirk P. Taylor, CPA, is Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of ReElement Technologies Corporation, a U.S. leader in advanced rare earth and critical mineral refining. He brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, capital markets, corporate development, and business structuring.

At ReElement, Kirk helps lead financial strategy, capital formation, and corporate development as the company expands its commercial refining platform. ReElement’s modular, refining-first technology separates and refines rare earth elements and critical minerals from primary concentrates, recycled materials, industrial byproducts, and unconventional feedstocks.

His work supports ReElement’s capacity expansion, including its Marion, Indiana Advanced Technology Center, strategic partnerships, and capital-efficient refining aligned with customer demand, feedstock availability, and strategic priorities. These efforts help strengthen secure domestic and allied critical mineral supply chains for defense, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, permanent magnets, energy, and battery technologies.

Kirk also serves as Chief Financial Officer of American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ: AREC), where he has contributed to public-company reporting, capital formation, acquisition integration, governance, and scalable financial and operating controls. ReElement Technologies is a portfolio holding of American Resources Corporation.

Earlier, Kirk spent more than a decade in public accounting, building expertise in auditing, tax compliance, financial modeling, transaction planning, and tax-advantaged business structures. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and an MBA from the University of Saint Francis.
