Todd Younkin

CEO, Semiconductor Research Corporation

Since 2020, Dr. Todd Younkin has served as President & CEO of the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC), responsible for >$650M in R&D and workforce development that drives industry-relevant outcomes from university-led investments through collaborations with industrial and government stakeholders.

Todd was instrumental in launching SRC’s 2030 Decadal Plan for Semiconductors to advocate for advancement of the CHIPS and Science Act (2022) and subsequently held an appointment as a Member of the CHIPS and Science Act Industrial Advisory Committee (IAC).

Prior to leading SRC, Todd worked on next generation technologies at Intel Corp. from 2001-2020, with R&D experience that spanned Intel’s 0.18um to 5nm nodes in a variety of business units and technologies, including lithography, BEOL integration, novel memories, and integrated photonics.

Todd holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech. He is currently an advisory member of the State University of New York’s (SUNY’s) Research Council and the Florida Semiconductor Institute (FSI) Global Strategy Council.
