Dr. Shengwang Du is the Scifres Family Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Purdue University. Prof. Du’s research focuses on experimental quantum optics and its applications in quantum computing, quantum networking, quantum sensing, optical neural networks for AI computing, optical microscopy and imaging. Prof. Du is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a Fellow of Optica, and a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors.
