David B. Williams is Director of Global University Research and Industry Partnerships for the Voyager Institute for Space, Technology and Advancement (VISTA) at The Ohio State University. VISTA will provide access to low earth orbit and beyond for industry and university research partnerships in the post International Space Station era.

Williams was Dean of Engineering at Ohio State from 2011-2021. While he was Dean, over $600M was raised enabling the hiring of 200 faculty members and the creation of numerous new facilities and programs.
