Office of Industry Partnerships hosting workshop with Sponsored Program Services
Purdue University’s Office of Industry Partnerships is hosting a presentation and panel discussion on Tuesday (Feb. 24). The event — called Industry Partnerships from a Sponsored Program Services (SPS) perspective: proposal, contracting and post-award processes — will shed light on SPS and explain everything from pre-award proposals to post-award execution.
At Purdue, SPS manages the life cycle of externally funded research, grants and contracts, assisting with proposals, contracts and post-award considerations. This panel will give faculty-principal investigators a comprehensive overview of the proposal process, the contracting process and the post-award process from start to finish. It will also cover considerations like budgeting and intellectual property.
The panel will be led by Purdue SPS experts Ken Sandel, associate vice president and senior intellectual property officer; Bryan Scott, senior pre-award manager; Jason Spall, post-award assistant director; and Kyle Wargo, director of contracting.
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302. Lunch will be served to attendees. Registration is required.
Purdue’s Office of Industry Partnerships (OIP) builds strategic collaborations between Purdue University and industry partners to develop talent, drive innovation and support economic growth. OIP acts as a central resource, providing comprehensive internal support to all university units and acting as a concierge for external partners.
