Office of Industry Partnerships hosting Power of Partnership workshop at Purdue Indianapolis
Purdue University’s Office of Industry Partnerships (OIP) is hosting an event on Wednesday (March 4) at Purdue’s Indianapolis location. The event — called The Power of Partnership: Strategies for Pursuing Industry Connection — will cover how to forge high-impact partnerships that promote research, innovation, workforce development and economic impact.
The event will be led by experts who work within Purdue’s Office of Industry Partnerships, including Luna Lu, vice president of OIP; Eric Woods, executive director of industry partnerships; Matthew Merzdorf, director of industry partnerships; Darla Mazur; director of operations for OIP; Angela Haan, executive assistant to OIP’s vice president; as well as industry engagement and corporate relations directors from Purdue’s College of Agriculture, College of Engineering, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Science and Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
During the event, experts will share the proven strategies they use to turn campus innovation into real-world success for faculty, students, and industry leaders. Experts will discuss successful collaborations and best practices for creating strong partnerships.
This event is geared toward faculty and staff at Purdue’s Indianapolis location, but faculty who are on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus are also welcome to attend.
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Lilly Auditorium at Purdue University in Indianapolis’ University Library, room UL 130 on the lower level. Lunch will be served to attendees, and registration is encouraged.
