RecWell to offer free one-week trial membership to faculty, staff July 25-31

Purdue Recreation & Wellness (RecWell) will offer a free, one-week trial membership to faculty and staff from July 25 through July 31. The trial membership supports the physical health and social wellness pillars of Purdue's Healthy Boiler Program.

Registration is now available either in-person at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center (Co-Rec) or online at RecWell’s member portal under the membership sales tab. Faculty and staff will still have to reserve a spot online at the member portal in order to use the facility. Faculty and staff may sign up for:

• Faculty & Staff Free Week – A membership that grants access to the Co-Rec and Burke Boilermaker Aquatic Center. Faculty and staff must reserve a spot online before coming into either facility.
• Faculty & Staff Free Week | Group X Access – An add-on option that allows faculty and staff to attend group fitness classes for the week. Faculty and staff must select this option and then register for the classes they would like to attend. Drop-ins will not be allowed. The option appears as a purchase on the RecWell membership page, but there is no charge.

Only current faculty and staff are eligible for the free week pass. However, partners, spouses and/or dependents of faculty and staff may purchase a day pass for $10. See the Memberships webpage for more information.

During free week, faculty and staff may use the Co-Rec’s 440,000 square feet of fitness space, including two jogging and walking tracks. They also may participate in basketball, racquet sports, meditation, swimming, volleyball, climbing and more.

The Co-Rec also offers a locker room, showers, a sauna and day lockers that participants may keep their belongings in. There is on-site parking for A, B and C permits. Additional A and B permit spaces are available nearby.

After the free-week trial period, faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a full access membership for as low as $34 per month.
