Healthy Boiler workshop to focus on total hip, total knee joint pain, replacement surgery

As part of the Total Hip & Total Knee Joint Replacement program in partnership with Franciscan Health, Dr. Tim Williams, Franciscan Health orthopedic surgeon, will present a Healthy Boiler workshop titled “Take Control of Your Joint Pain.” The workshop will take place virtually from noon to 1 p.m. ET on June 24.

The Total Hip & Total Knee Joint Replacement program supports the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

Williams, who has trained extensively in both primary and complex hip and knee replacements, will share facts about the latest procedures and recent advances in the treatment of hip and knee pain, including joint replacement surgery.

Healthy Boiler workshops are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan.
