As a direct result of Purdue’s claims data analysis, which reflected extreme cost variations without transparency or quality guarantees for two of the fastest growing medical procedures in the U.S., Purdue evaluated several healthcare providers to find high-quality, evidence-based total hip and knee joint replacement services and outcomes. Franciscan emerged as the clear choice – providing transparency, nationally recognized level of care and a 20% reduction in costs. Purdue’s claims data analysis showed extreme cost variations:

Knee replacement costs ranged from $21,000 to $67,000
Hip replacement costs ranged from $19,000 to $91,000

Cash Payment one replacement is completed: $500

Purdue has built in an incentive program for YOU or your spouse (patient must be covered on a Purdue health plan) who have hip or knee replacements at Franciscan’s Mooresville location. YOUR travel and overnight accommodations for surgery for YOU and a guest are covered by Purdue. Additionally, YOU will receive a cash payment of $500 once the replacement is completed.
